Taking stock

Housework ahoy!

Laundry 2/5 loads completely finished, another 2 under way.
Bathrooms 3/3 cleaned!
Flotsam and jetsam picked up!
Kitchen half-ass cleaned!
Sweeping half-ass done!

Okay, so not exactly the cleaning extravaganza I was hoping for but it's something. I blame the children. But even so, with this start on things and if I can keep the chaos at a reasonable level this week, I should be able to do a better job cleaning this weekend.

Grading, not so hot...

9th Grade class: 18/31 essays graded - positively must be returned tomorrow. I have some time to finish them up before I see my first class of freshmen.

10th Grade class: 0/33 essays graded - so I only see one of my groups tomorrow. I can put them all off until the end of the week, I think. Won't hurt.

11th Grade exams: 5/25 graded - Dudes, these totally rock or they completely suck. It's ridiculous. I have 6 more to do to finish with the class I see tomorrow. I see them first thing, so this one has to get done before I sleep.

 I guess it's not bad. Nine 9th grade essays and 5 tests (plus six more to do). I just wanted to get a start on the 10th grade essays. Egads. Well, anyway. I need to sleep more than this needs to get done.

And I guess that's the thing about this weekend. I slept kind of a lot. And apparently I needed it. So that's good.

Meanwhile, I have a plan for my 9th grade classes tomorrow and I'm ready for the 10th. I need to spend about 15 minutes prepping for my other class but I have a free period before it comes. So long as everything gets off to a good start, I think I'm going to have a better week.
